Updates Fines for TDG Act Infractions effective August 1, 2005
In
August, 2005, the
Ontario Court of Justice revised their fines for infractions to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods
Act in Ontario, called Schedule 3.1.
NOTE: The maximum
penalties are a fine of up to $100,000 and/or a term of up to
6 months in jail. On proceedings by way of indictment, a fine
of up to $1,000,000 and/or a term of up to 2 years in jail may
be imposed.
