OSHA is adopting an amendment that changes the criteria,
hazard statements and labels, within the constraints of
US legal structure. They are expected to become
compliant with all of the provisions for the preparation
and use of the new labels and safety data sheets (SDSs)
by June 1, 2015. But all employees that require
training on the new label elements and SDS format must
complete it by December 1, 2013.
New Canadian GHS laws will follow but these amendments are
not expected until 2013 or later. Do you have questions
