Wellington
Construction Ltd., located in Summerside, P.E.I, has pleated
guilty to a charge that is the result of the death of a worker.
"Wellington
Construction Ltd. faced four charges, two under the
Occupational Health and Safety Act and two under the
province's fall prevention regulations.
Earl Perry, 61,
of Wellington, P.E.I., died from injuries sustained after
falling off the roof of a seniors' complex.
In provincial
court Wednesday, the company's lawyer entered the guilty plea
to a charge of failing to ensure workers are not exposed to
occupational health or safety hazards.
Sentence will
be passed June 30."
