In June, the Ontario government's safety blitz is focused on Tower Cranes on construction sites.

"From June 1 to 30, 2011, health and safety inspectors are targeting all construction sites that use tower cranes in the Greater Toronto and Niagara areas.

They are focusing on:

-safe access and fall prevention

-maintenance and operational testing records

-crane operator training and certification

-various other safety hazards."
