Worker Suffers Serious Burns in Fire
 
April, 2005: In Alberta, Canada, charges have been laid against multiple contractors and an employer. This follows an incident in which vapours from a solvent ignited and started a fire. Three companies were charged with OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) violations and one was charged with failing to have first aid services on site. The employer was charged with failure to evaluate explosion risks or minimize exposure to a harmful substance.
